Trail Overview

Embark on an off-road adventure on the beautiful Jackson Creek Comm Bypass off Rocky Brook Road. This route features a single lane with multiple pullout spots--some are perfect for camping. The road is heavily canopied, with the northern section slightly overgrown in places, providing a challenge for the adventurous driver. Be prepared for some heavy pinstriping on your vehicle, and keep an eye out for large rocks, small boulders, and fallen trees along the way.

Your regular trail, some bigger potholes and pinstriping along the way. Be wary of certain off shoots that are less maintained. They will destroy your paint. There were some break-offs in case there’s a vehicle coming the opposite way. Got a bit skinny sometimes but overall a good trail.

Trail was very wet from heavy rains with water flowing down the road a significant portion of the time. Trail could easily be done in a stock Subaru. I used 4 low just to keep my speed down on steep portions but 4wd wasn’t needed otherwise. Portions of the trail are overgrown and I’ll leave pinstripes. Some side trails were heavily overgrown but passable. I’d love to do this again on a clear day for the views as it was wickedin with clouds today.

Little bit snug in spots from overgrowth crowding the trail. Few pot holes. Nothing too difficult (so far) Few pinstripes. Nice and shady

One steep section with packed snow. A couple of miles with branches scraping both sides of the Tundra. Ouch. Road was in good condition overall.
