This single-lane gravel road begins at a snow park just off Highway 97. Although the base map shows it going much further, it has a closed gate about a mile in. There are a couple of established dispersed campsites along the road, including just before the gate. The road does continue, so further non-motorized exploration is possible. The area is mixed forest with some openings. The road has some erosion damage, but it is minor.
