Trail Overview

This 1.5-lane gravel road starts at Highway 97 and climbs to a junction with FS 9712. A pit toilet is located at the snow park near Highway 97. The road passes through mixed forest with a fair amount of underbrush and is generally well maintained, with only minor erosion in a few areas. It is wide enough to safely meet another vehicle along most of the route, and several side roads offer additional opportunities to explore.
