Trail Overview
FR C-2100 is a forest and logging road on Washington DNR-managed land. The route is open to street-legal vehicles, including plated motorcycles. It begins as a relatively easy hardpack dirt road through logged forest, with some bumpy sections and occasional views of the surrounding mountains. Approximately three miles from the end, conditions begin to change as branches and vegetation increasingly encroach on the roadway. For the final two miles, the overgrowth becomes very thick, significantly narrowing the usable trail and requiring vehicles to push through dense vegetation and prickly bushes. 4x4s will likely turn around at the dense vegetation, but motorcycles can push through depending on will. Despite the heavy growth, the underlying road remains relatively straightforward with few technical obstacles. The route eventually dead-ends at a gate, requiring travelers to return the way they came.
Difficulty
The underlying road is mostly straightforward hardpack with some rough sections. Heavy vegetation and branches make the final two miles considerably more difficult to navigate, but there are no major rocks, ledges, water crossings, or other technical obstacles.
