Trail Overview

FR C-1200 is a fun, easy forest road on Washington DNR-managed land. The route is open to street-legal vehicles, including plated motorcycles. The full-width road winds through thick forest and follows a well-groomed mixture of gravel and hardpack dirt. The route descends approximately 1,065 feet, with frequent winding turns making the drive enjoyable despite the lack of significant technical obstacles. Dense trees surround much of the road, while occasional openings provide views of the surrounding mountains and forested landscape. The road remains wide enough for full-size 4x4 vehicles throughout the traveled section and is generally smooth and easy to follow. Overall, C-1200 is a mellow, scenic descent where the winding road and mountain views provide most of the experience.
