Trail Overview

This 20.1 mile point-to-point trial goes past Dusky Point (trail to top is very overgrown and difficult to pass) and ends at Spoon Creek Falls. This trail gives amazing views of the valleys in Olympic National Forest. Easily passable by 4WD and AWD vehicles, some 2WD vehicles with higher clearance can also travel this trail.

There is still a substantial amount of snow at the top of the pass. We were able to make it, but we had to pull each other out a couple of times. I don’t recommend stock vehicles or driving off-road in snow if you don’t have prior experience.

Road was good, cane in from Wynoochee side only went about 1/4 way up to spider lakes. Snow got to about 6 to 12in. Only myself and Girlfriend, didn't want to push it. Down trees have been cleared. Signs of other vehicles not many went past where we turned around.

3+ ft of snow once you get past dusk point - we were breaking trail for a while before it became too difficult.

A couple rutted out areas, but for majority of the trail it’s smooth sailing
