Access Description

There are no fees or permits required to drive Forest Road 5290 or to use the dispersed campsites along the route. However, a Northwest Forest Pass or an America the Beautiful interagency pass may be required if parking at nearby established trailheads. The road is not maintained in the winter and becomes impassable due to snow accumulation, typically from November through May.
