Trail Overview

Deer Creek Road travels north into the Mount Baker National Forest. In the beginning, there is a large parking lot, a bathroom, and a gate for seasonal closures during winter. The road is in mostly good condition with a large repaired washout rutted and slightly off camber offering really the only challenge. Beyond the ruts, the road gets a little rougher but nothing too difficult. The road is tight in some places with vegetation and has a fairly large hiking parking lot near the end of the road.
