Trail Overview
Clark Creek is a 2.5-mile-long, moderately easy single track in the Little Pend Oreille Trail System. It connects the ATV segment of Trail 142 to the Radar Dome singletrack; thus, it’s a quick way to access the Radar Dome Historical Site from the Little Pend Oreille ORV Trailhead. The trail is a constant ascent from north to south, with several steeper climbing spots. There are frequent roots across the trail, bridge crossings, and a couple of small rock obstacles that are embedded rock faces that you can ramp up or pick an easy line through. The trail is not overly difficult, but does have enough small features and climbs to keep the route interesting. It’s pretty wide on the north end, but narrows up on the south end as it approaches Trail 143. It goes through a scenic forest of cedars and pines, mostly socked in by the trees.
Difficulty
This is a moderately easy dirt bike trail that has short, steep climbs and minor rock features and roots, but is also pretty fast and flowy. It’s a good trail for newer riders looking to improve their single track skills with a few rock features to practice on.
