Trail Overview
Calispell Peak is a scenic 50-mile loop starting from Chewelah, Washington, designed for offroaders seeking a rewarding mountain excursion with expansive views of the Colville National Forest. Starting as a paved route out of town, this trail quickly transitions to maintained gravel roads as it climbs into the Iron Mountains, eventually turning into a rough, rocky, and steep two-mile climb near the summit. The route is suitable for most high-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles, SxSs, and dual-sport motorcycles, climbing from an elevation of 1,686 feet up to a high point of 5,573 feet.
