Trail Overview

Bead Lake Road is a 4.1-mile point-to-point route through Kaniksu National Forest. The route starts as a wide, single-lane gravel road but quickly becomes narrower and rougher. Numerous potholes make up much of the rougher terrain and can make the drive slower as the route continues. The route winds through both private property and Kaniksu National Forest lands. Bead Lake Road is open year-round to all vehicles.

Difficulty

Bead Lake Road is rated easy. The route has no major technical obstacles, though the numerous potholes and narrower roadway require slower speeds in places. Most high-clearance vehicles should have little difficulty under normal conditions.
