Trail Overview

South Pedlar is a 10.5-mile ATV loop trail in George Washington National Forest offering a fast and flowy ride through mossy woodlands. The wide, well-maintained trail features a smooth surface with scattered loose rocks and leaf debris, along with banked corners and wooden bridges. While most of the route is easy, a moderate section on the north end near the Lasso Trail includes loose rock and bigger embedded, ramped rock faces that add some difficulty, but it's flat and ATVs can easily articulate over the rocks, so it remains easy and manageable. Expect some tight turns and slick roots, especially in wet conditions. A scenic viewpoint can be found on the west side just south of the Otter intersection.

Trail was a little slippery. Lots of puddles in low grades. Cooler weather. Great ride
