Trail Overview

This road is fairly easy and should not require 4WD unless it is very wet. Wildlife is abundant including deer, grouse, and turkey. The side route to Comer's Rock provides a scenic overlook after a short hike. Much of the trail would have good views in the winter, but most of the views are blocked by leaves in the warm months. Campsites and a restroom are near the Comer's Rock turn-off. Another restroom and parking lot at Hale Lake.

Beautiful views, some ruts and potholes. There is an overlook near the campground. Not to long of hike but a steep stone walkway.
