Trail Overview

CC87 is a short, quarter-mile trail that climbs north from its southern connection with CC50. It begins with a loose, rocky hill climb featuring large flat rocks in a trough-like path, making traction difficult--especially in the typically slick, humid conditions of the dense forest. The trail continues as a shelf path along the hillside before reconnecting with CC50. It serves as a more technical side route with challenging rocky terrain.
