Trail Overview

CC90 is a 0.6-mile moderate loop off of CC50 that begins at the north end with a steep, rutted descent through dense forest. The trail features loose rocks, deep central ruts, and a slick mud layer, especially when wet or covered in decaying leaves, which can make traction difficult to maintain. At the bottom, the trail becomes grassy and overgrown before continuing along a narrow shelf path with tight hairpin turns. Steep climbs mirror the descent, and a rocky stream crossing adds to the technical challenge. The southern half has a really steep climb with a layer of loose rocks that makes it even more difficult.
