Trail Overview

CC57 is an advanced trail less than half a mile long, primarily due to its extreme steepness and rocky terrain. Starting at the north end from CC67, it descends steeply down a rutted ridge with slick conditions in wet weather, making uphill travel nearly impossible in the wettest conditions. The trail briefly flattens near the intersection with CC59, then continues along a narrow shelf on the mountainside. The final segment features another steep, rocky descent before reconnecting with CC67. High moisture levels, loose rock, and slick decaying leaves further increase the difficulty.
