CC2, when driven clockwise, begins as old, narrow pavement that is cracked and winding, following a curving path under powerlines along a hillside. Around the halfway point, it transitions to a wide dirt road with gravel and small loose rock, passing oil and gas sites. The final segment narrows into a wooded section with a shelf-like path along the hillside. Despite the changes in terrain, the entire trail remains very easy.
