Trail Overview

This is a mix of Forest Service/logging roads with some well-maintained power line trails included. This drive has amazing views and is truly enjoyable. There are multiple culverts and small streams that flood the road at different times, so use caution when crossing water obstacles. There are some fire rings and campsites, but it is unknown if these are legal camping sites. The trail also passes by an amazing climbing area called Black Mountain. It's a great fall drive.

The trail was super easy, well groomed dirt roads but abiut two thirds through the trail we reached an unpassable washout and had to turn around. We spent a couple hours exploring all the offshoots and all were easy.

still closed just about half way from the south end. but there's plenty of trails to explore around for the day. nice views along the power lines, some cool hidden surprises.

Can not get all the way through, multiple bridges on the north end are out. You can go about half way up then west off the power lines, then left on Canal Rd to do a loop. Fun though.
