Trail Overview

This is a little-used trail. Overall, it is very rocky, making progress difficult in some areas. Filled with lots of scattered black lava rocks, but no massive descents or ascents. The views along the way are epic, looking towards the north. The trail starts near the cattle fence line, which runs north-south. It starts up a small hill climb, then proceeds along the edge of the rim and generally continues southerly up to the base of the mesa. You'll then continue along the mesa trending downward until eventually dropping into a narrow wash. The wash will bring you back around to the main trail, again. A fun intermediate trail that is off the beaten path nearby.
