Trail Overview

Samps Hollow Overlook is a short trail that mostly follows a ridgeline with areas of mud and some deep ruts. Starting at the end of Mill Canyon Spring Road, Samps Hollow Overlook is short but sweet. There are quite a few primitive campsites, some tucked underneath the pines.

Difficulty

The road is not regularly maintained. Expect mud holes and large, uneven undulations up to about 18 inches. The road is only one vehicle wide, but there are places to pass and allow others to pass you.

Nice little trail with some rough spots towards the end. Glad to find it with the family. Mostly dirt bikes that high up on the trail. Trail had some deep ruts and uneven ground that made the going slow in our Jeep Wrangler.
