Rockslide Safari

After departing from the main route up Mount Elizabeth, this track will slowly climb higher into the mountains. Typically dusty, always rocky, there can be a few small water crossings if it has rained hard. The road is doable in anything with high clearance. The farther you go, it will get a bit narrower, but the last 0.5 miles or so will be very primitive and barely wide enough for a midsize SUV. Low range is recommended for this final section or can be done easily enough on a SXS or ATV. The best part about this route is that at the end, you can park your vehicle and hike off the trail about 100 yards to see a massive rockslide. It is worth the hike! In fact, it is large enough that you can see it from the satellite images on OnX.
