Potters Canyon - FS 50271

This trail runs between Skyline Drive and Millers Flat, traveling up Potters Canyon and past the Potters Ponds. This trail is a well-maintained gravel road on the lower end with it transitioning to a natural base road towards the top of the canyon, with a few small loose rocky sections and a couple of shallow ruts to traverse. This trail provides amazing views down the canyon on the top end, and on the lower end there are multiple access points to the Potters Ponds. This trail is open to all vehicles and has no set seasonal closure date, but may be impassable due to deep snow during the winter, usually from the end of October through the beginning of July each year.
