Joe Hole Wash

The south end of this 9-mile single track starts at the intersection with Lost Spring Wash. Most of the route is a wide and easy trail through rocky mesas, but there are several small ledges, plus a few bigger more intermediate ledges. It climbs in and out of easy washes, and there are lots of slab rock layers. Some of the easier parts of the trail are the fast and straight sections on top of the mesa between giant granite boulders. It goes through a really scenic zone riding right past giant rock outcroppings. You'll have to ride small hills both up and down that are sometimes more difficult due to steepness. The trail goes through a couple of rock pinches, and rutted loose climbs, and through lots of fast sandy whoops, especially on the north end. One of the bigger obstacles is a series of blunt rock ledges at the top of a dirt hill, that are a couple feet tall each. The north end rides right next to scenic rock cliffs before ending on the Green River Cutoff Road.
