Trail Overview
Trail 15 is a short powerline trail that connects the staging area on the east side of US Highway 191 to the rest of the trail system. The trail crosses the highway directly across from the staging area, then drops down a forested hillside on a wide dirt trail below a series of powerlines. The hill is slightly steep and a bit rutted, but it is not overly difficult or rocky, making it still approachable for beginner riders. It turns left at a wooden fence and goes south through some wide open grassy meadows. The trail is a bit rutted and muddy here, but it is mostly just smooth dirt going straight through the meadow. The trail ends on Grizzly Ridge Road FS 10047. You can wind south through the interconnected forest roads to connect to the Ashley Driveway ATV Trail or the Little Brush Creek Trail.
Difficulty
This is an easy trail that only has a bit of rutting, but is mostly free of rocks. The initial descent from US Highway 191 is semi-steep and rutted, but has good traction and minimal rocks, making it still approachable for beginners.
