Trail Overview

This short spur route branches off from D2915 and heads through sandy desert terrain toward the Green River area. The trail winds through brush-lined sections and shallow washouts, creating a more tucked-away feel compared to the open surrounding landscape. While it does not provide a direct overlook of the Green River, the route still offers excellent views of the nearby rock formations and rugged desert scenery that define the area. The sandy base can become soft in spots, so maintaining momentum may be helpful depending on conditions. Drivers should watch for erosion cuts and uneven surfaces where the trail passes through washes. As the route continues, it narrows into thicker vegetation before ending at a tight turnaround loop hidden in the bushes.

Difficulty

This spur route is generally mild but includes enough soft sand, shallow washouts, and tighter brush-lined sections to require attention. There are no major obstacles or extreme climbs, but momentum and careful tire placement may be helpful in sandy or eroded spots. Most stock high-clearance 4WD vehicles should complete it easily in dry conditions.
