Trail Overview

Bridge Canyon Road is an off shoot trail of Gemini Bridges, just before reaching The Gooney Bird Rock. This is an out and back trail with a loop at the end so turning around is less painful. The loop is smaller so if you have a camper or a trailer it may be more challenging. There are 4 designated dispersed camping spots along this trail as well.

Difficulty

This trail is mostly sand, traction for some may be more challenging. There are no major obstacles along the way. There are some bunny hills in the sand along the way.

Fairly straightforward. Dusty with a couple of off camber sections. One has a rock that forces you to put your tires high on the bank. Bit of lean but I accomplished it with a RTT in the FJ. The last obstacle is really washed out with deep holes but there is a bypass. Ran 4 lo with no issues.

A very dusty, sand trail. Some off-camber sections. All toilet waste must be taken out. 2/10 makes sense.

Washout

Trails washed out due to rain, sites are pretty washed out as well. There’s a large rock right on the trail that forces you to go around it, makes you lean a lot. I made it but had to use my locker. No one with roof top tents or campers were able to make it past.

Could not reach the last two campsites in stock SUV. Trail is washed out. Probably could have reached them with a lot of shoveling sand.
