Road 248

Returned today to scout trash. I picked up a full yard trash bag plus some plastic inner fender wells down by the creek. Ya know…if just one out of every 25 guys who run this trail would pick up some stuff that they spot along the road…that would be cool. And if one in a thousand would venture further in the bushes to do a deep dig…well, that would be awesome. Hey…take your kid and give him a task to complete.

The trail was clear and open up until a locked gate about 1.5 miles from the trail end. The gate appears to have been locked for quite a while and there is a bypass around the gate that appears to be frequently used. A fair amount of trash has accumulated in the turnaround area. I should have collected it but didn't. I will make a point to go back in the next few days with a trash bag and clear it out. Other than that it is beautiful and quiet 👍
