Trail Overview

Baby Back is a very scenic trail located on the eastern park boundary. The trail begins at the campground known as Zip’s Corner. It features both elevation gains and losses as you crest a mountaintop, with multiple rock ledges and stair steps encountered throughout the route. Bypasses are available for every rock obstacle along the trail. The trail is plenty wide for 2 way vehicle traffic with designated pull-off areas for breaks or photos.

Difficulty

The trail has multiple stair-step rock obstacles that have ruts in various places, and is plenty wide for all stock 4WD vehicles to pick a line that suits their rig. Bypasses are available, but there are still small obstacles on them.
