Limekiln Loop Road

Limekiln Loop Road is a wooded dirt trail that branches off of Inman Loop Rd. It will take you south to the edge of the gorge overlooking the Tennessee River, but the view is typically obscured by trees. All trails at Prentice Cooper are subject to seasonal and weather-related closures. More information can be found at https://www.tn.gov/agriculture/forests/state-forests/prentice-cooper.html. Prentice Cooper State Forest is located in southeastern Tennessee in Marion County, along the scenic Tennessee River Gorge. The forest is approximately 10 miles west of Chattanooga and is a popular destination for visitors.
