The Wall

Easy trail from the northern entrance. About 75 designated spots

I ended up on this trail after stopping at Wall Drug. It had been raining all morning so the trail was wet and very slick. I made it through but decided that I wasn’t going to camp there. Plenty of people were already there. Came back the next afternoon to camp and the trail was almost completely dry.

Very busy dispersed camping area. There are designated dispersed sites. The trail was very easy. People with large campers can do it.

If you enter from the north entrance with camper, it will be a rough ride over to the camping area, especially in an RV. Take the south entrance for easy access. Lots of sites.

Got in at around sunset to boondock. Lots of spots open but it was still filling up. Trail was dry with a few ruts but plenty of people out in 2WD vehicles. Entrance was a little difficult to spot at night but if you have OnX open or even regular maps show it as “Bandlands Boondocking Site” The views are amazing at almost every part of The Wall

This is a well maintained gravel driving surface often used for boondocking.
