John Mountain - FS 782

John Mountain Road, Forest Service Road 782, runs through hardwood forest on a mix of graded gravel and packed dirt. This 1/10 trail is wide and well maintained the whole way, with a bridged creek crossing at the start and no obstacles worth calling out. A large flat clearing sits at one end with plenty of room to park and turn around. Canopy stays closed for most of the drive so it holds shade through the summer, and the hardwoods make it worth running again in fall.
