Trail Overview

This is a winding gravel path that takes you from State Route 62 to Route 32. This is a great way to get into the Allegheny National Forest. There is one very tight section in the middle that you will come upon as you climb up;this will be the upper and lower trails.

Difficulty

The difficulty is due to the tight steep connecting section. This is a narrow portion of trail.

wouod not adivse in snow/ice due to downhill section. death bowl at the bottom. Mushy and wet with ruts in the middle section after the usfs easement. steep decent at the end if coming off 321. Random USFS sign in the middle of the trail that says no motorized use but no signs at beginning or end. not sure what's up with that. USFS road use map says open to high clearance 4x4s. we did it with full size trucks on MT's and had no traction issues.

Downed Tree
Large tree was down in the middle of the trail right after it gets narrow. No way around, had to back out. No means with me to remove the tree off the trail

Super simple trail it's not real wide a little tight in some spots but not bad. you could probably drive any 2wd truck down this trail and be fine

In my Tundra this was a tight but fun trail. Nothing too tricky. Trail wa dry this time of year. Fun trail.

ok, with this trail the part that is tight... is really tight and you think you are going the wrong way when you go up the first part which is a steap hill. in the middle it got a little soft and I would recommend having someone with you. Just follow the signs for the snowmobile. once you get to the far end by Rt6 the it is not a path but a dirt road. Great run fun to do.
