Trail Overview
Trail 4L - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Trail 4L is an original trail to the facility, though it was rerouted as part of the windmill project in 2025. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. Trail 4L is a tenth of a mile in length and is part of the larger network at the park. Trail 4L intersects Clayworks Drive and Trail 5E at the ends. It has a T intersection with one end of Trail 5. This trail is both embedded and loose rocks, along with potential rutting in locations. It has a short, steep grade from Clayworks Drive to the low point at Trail 5 and then a lesser grade to Trail 5E. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxS’s. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in March 2026.
Difficulty
This is an easier dirt trail. You will encounter some obstacles under 12 inches, potential uneven terrain, and/or loose rocks. This trail is one vehicle wide with locations to pass.
