Trail Overview
Trail 4- A trail of the Rock Run Recreation Area. Trail 4 is an original trail to the park. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. Trail 4 is a mile in length and is part of the larger network at the park. This trail is dirt, rocks, and some mud. You may encounter some washouts and minor rutting in a few locations, along with loose rocks and roots. There is a short, steep grade at one end of Trail 4 where it intersects with the Inner Loop. Trail 4 is an odd "U" shaped loop trail, which intersects with a handful of other trails over its course. It is mostly one vehicle wide with ample areas to pass. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. The trail travels mostly through the woods, but there are some open meadows. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it in both directions. Trail driven and documented in June 2025.
Difficulty
This is an easier dirt trail. You will encounter some obstacles under 12 inches, potential uneven terrain, and/or loose rocks. This trail is one vehicle wide with locations to pass.
