Trail Overview
This is the mid-section for Strongs Mountain Jeep Trail. The Trail starts at the northern terminus with Havice Valley Road. At the junction with Flat Hollow Trail, you will turn left and move uphill through this portion. It's a rocky ascent with plenty of lines to take. The key is to take it slow, air down, and use 4Low. Rain will absolutely make the rocks slippery. Once you reach the top at the intersection with Longwell Draft Road, take a right and continue down the hill, where it's identified on OnX already as Strong's Mountain Trail. This is a blast of a trail, one of the few old Jeep Trails in Bald Eagle State Forest. The route can be run South to North, but expect a long uphill climb. It's definitely more fun going north to south.
