Sand Quarry Road

This is a generally easy dirt road that runs along the base of the Kittatinny Ridge and next to a former quarry. While the majority of the road is wide and flat, there are a handful of sections with small rocks and ruts from water runoff. It is a municipal road, which means all vehicles must obey posted speed limits and be registered/insured. Open year-round, it does receive winter maintenance, but is usually plowed later than the surrounding paved roads. This route is surrounded by private property so do not venture off the road.
