Hoffman Road

This is a generally easy dirt road that runs along the base of the Kittatinny Ridge, terminating on one end at the unpaved Bake Oven Knob Road. The road is wide and hard-packed dirt/gravel, but does periodically develop small ruts from water runoff. It is a municipal road, which means all vehicles must obey posted speed limits and be registered/insured. Open year-round, it does receive winter maintenance except for the approximate 0.35 miles off of Bake Oven Knob, which is within the state game lands boundary and is generally unmaintained in the snow.
