Trail Overview
Rock Den Ridge Top Bypass - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Located at the Northern End of the park, Rock Den Ridge Top Bypass should be able to be traversed by anyone with a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. At just under 2/10ths of a mile in length, it was built as a bypass route for Rock Den Trail. Using the bypass, you can avoid some of the steeper grade portions of Rock Den. With both ends of the trail starting at different points on Rock Den Trail, you can travel across the ridge top. This trail is in the woods and is mostly embedded rocks. There is one intersecting trail, which is the Sweep OHV hill climb for access to Radio Road. This trail is open to motorcycles, OHV, ATV, and SxSs to the South and all vehicle types to the North from the intersection mid-trail. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in August 2025.
Difficulty
This is an easier dirt trail. You will encounter some obstacles under 12 inches, potential uneven terrain, and/or loose rocks. This trail is one vehicle wide with locations to pass.
