Trail Overview
OHV 16- A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. OHV 16 is a designated Off-Highway Vehicle Trail and should be able to be traversed by anyone with some patience and skill. OHV 16 starts off Borrow Pit Path in the borrow pit. This end was impacted by the windmill construction project in 2025 and was reestablished. The other end intersects on Radio Road. OHV 16 is just under 2/10ths of a mile in length but offers a variety of obstacles and challenges. While some of this trail is essentially a dirt road, there is one location with a larger embedded rock of about 18 inches in height. Its placement is burdensome due to trees on both sides that limit travel. It is a tight trail in this location. It intersects with trails OHV 18 and OHV 20, offering different options for travel. It is one vehicle wide for the entirety and is open to any off-highway vehicles. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience running it in both directions. Trail driven and documented in November 2025.
