Trail Overview
OHV 18- A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. OHV 18 is a designated Off-Highway Vehicle Trail and should be able to be traversed by anyone with some skill and patience. One end starts at trail OHV 16 and the other end at Radio Road. Both ends of OHV 18 are on a grade, with the end nearest OHV 16 having a short and steep change in elevation with a number of embedded and loose rocks under two feet in size. There are some roots and changing conditions due to ruts and erosion. From here, it travels through the woods with a few tight locations due to trees and brush. You will also encounter more rutting and potentially loose stones. There is one larger spot that holds water less than a foot deep. It is one vehicle wide for the entirety and is open to any off-highway vehicles. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience running it in both directions. Trail driven and documented in November 2025.
Difficulty
This is an uneven, rutted dirt trail with loose rocks and washes, mud holes, and tight, steep grades. The trail is one vehicle wide with limited places to pass.
