Inner Loop - East - Rock Run Recreation Area

Inner Loop East - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. An original trail to the facility, the Inner Loop East is a fan favorite and heavily utilized. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on ATV, SxS or motorcycle with some skill. At just over 2.6 miles in length, Inner Loop East is a dirt trail with both embedded and loose rocks. You will encounter some areas of standing water, mudholes up to 8 inches deep, and potential rutting. One end of Inner Loop East starts at the main parking area near the shower house. There are multiple intersections along the entire length of the trail. Inner Loop East is predominantly on the Eastern side of Coal Haul Road and can be combined with Inner Loop West to create an entire loop starting and ending at one point. This trail travels predominantly in the woods and may be overgrown with vegetation on the sides. It is mostly one machine wide with areas to pass and is open to motorcycles, ATV and SxS’s. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. This trail is open to all vehicle types. Trail driven and documented in October 2025.
