Trail Overview

Hunter Road is a pretty well-maintained gravel road through Bald Eagle State Forest. There are plenty of places to pull off and enjoy the scenery. All along the trail, there are hunting cabins so it could get more traffic during hunting season. Towards the end of the trail, there is a vista with a really spectacular view in the fall.

Trail is very well maintained but slightly wet with recent rain. Nothing crazy. Very easy ride with nice views.

Hunter Road was very well gradeed and smooth, no pot holes, puddles, ruts or washes to report. With how dry it has been, the gravel was very dusty. Eddie's vista was absolutely beautiful at sunset, and I had the place all to myself!
