Trail Overview

The Havice Valley Trail runs east to west through Bald Eagle State Forest in Pennsylvania. This trail makes for a scenic drive that begins at Poe Valley State Park and ends at the border of the forest. Poe Valley SP offers a campground, access to Penns Creek, hiking trails, and bathrooms right at the north end of the Havice Valley Trail. Cell service is spotty so be sure to download offline maps.

Icy, rutted road. Some spots there was no crunchy snow for traction. Recommend taking curves and turns slow. 4WD a must in some spots.
