Trail Overview

Black Diamond - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Located at the Northern End of the park, Black Diamond should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with skill. At approximately 7/10ths of a mile in length, it was built as part of the second phase of the park. The high point of elevation of Black Diamond intersects at Radio Road. This section is open to all vehicle types with a sharp and steep drop in elevation to a small play area. The remainder of Black Diamond from this point to the lowest elevation intersection with Rock Den is only accessible to motorcycles, ATVs, and SxSs due to width. Black Diamond zig zags its way along the hillside with frequent elevation changes, with a few short steep portions. You will encounter various loose and embedded rocks along its entirety, and you may encounter some ruts and washes. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in August 2025.
