Snow Mountain Lookout

This route accesses the Snow Mountain Fire Lookout. The road is easily driven by any vehicle with reasonable clearance and careful driving. There are large deep ruts as well as rocks. The summit is often much colder and windier than the surrounding area below the treeline. It often has snow until June and snow comes in early fall. From Snow Mountain, you can see many of the local landmarks, and the fire lookout is still manned during fire season.
