Trail Overview

A great trail to take for accessing the trail system from the Town of Sisters. This also travels through some of the best camping in the area. The spots are close enough to town for grabbing a cup of Joe at Sisters Coffee, but far enough away to escape the light pollution. There is even a staging area for horses at the main campsite.

Difficulty

This is a great trail for Overland Rigs including those with a teardrop adventure trailer in tow. Any trailer bigger than a single axle or motorhomes larger than a sprinter should take the more direct access roads.

Did this as part of a loop with Sisters to Trout Creek Butte Trails. Easy, fun ride. Some narrowing due to manzanita. Combination of dirt roads and trails. One spot of climbing over a short rocky area.
