Trail Overview

This wide, smooth cinder forest road parallels the historic McKenzie Highway going West out of Sisters, Oregon. This road is used by Deschutes National Forest users accessing the woods immediately out of town or connecting deeper into the extensive network of trails and Forest Service roads that stretch North to Highway 20 and the Mount Jefferson Wilderness. This road is not maintained in winter.
