Trail Overview

You will be in for a real treat once you get to the top of this one. Be prepared for breathtaking views. If you have a significant other, take them up here for a chance to look down on the valley. Summer is this one's time to shine, but all other seasons are good too. If going in the snow, make sure to be prepared--it can get deep up there. You do have cell service, but it's not necessarily reliable. Watch for log trucks as well. There are pull-outs, but be cautious.

Beautiful camp spot off a spur near the intersection with Bell Camp Rd, Road was easy going and has some cliffside views, definitely recommend carrying a CB as this is a major artery for Stimson in the area

incredibly fun and pretty quiet! mostly even gravel with some sudden potholes. the road was gated near the top due to fire concerns but still got some unbelievable views

The road was in good condition and easy to traverse. If you catch it on a clear day you can be treated to a killer view of Mt. Rainer, Mt. St Helens, Mt Adams, and Mt. Hood. Would absolutely recommend.
