Trail Overview

Phillips Creek Trail is approximately 10 miles long. It is worth noting that the first 2 miles of this trail are private property owned by CHANDLER GRANDE RONDE RANCH LLC. We were able to drive (slowly and cautiously) through without issue however I am not sure if the gated areas are ever closed. It did not appear to have any closure mechanism. This trail is primarily dirt and gravel with very minimal obstacles. It contains a few potholes places but is primarily compact dirt.

I rated this a level 1 as a 2wd or stock height CUV would have no issue tackling this terrain given it is primarily compact dirt.

Nice, easy drive up to Skyline Road. Well maintained.

That two mile stretch the previous reviewer thought was private property is a Forrest Service road with an easement. Just stay on the road in that section. Otherwise, it’s an easy, gorgeous drive. As of today, it’s riddled with potholes.
