Trail Overview

This beach front trail is over ten miles of driving on beach access. Occasionally there will be driftwood logs, however for the most part it is just lovely beach driving. The entrances and exits can get a little mushy in soft sand. People are constantly getting pulled and towed out of that area after getting stuck in the soft sand. Sections of this trail are closed during specific times of year due to wildlife and pedestrian traffic.

Difficulty

I rated this easy because except for the entrances and exits, it's a fairly smooth ride on mostly compacted sand.

Lots of vehicles, people, kids, and dogs on the beach just chilling. A few driving. Easy sand to drive on. The entrances can have softer sand. Helped recover a 2WD high centered sedan at one of the entrances.

First trip out on the sand in this rig. Easy trip up the beach. Quite a few people and other vehicles running up and down the beach. Plenty of room for all to enjoy.

There was a good amount of people out on the beach. Lots of drift wood to maneuver around in most places!

It was very wet from all the rain and limited driftwood. The tide was coming in and the non paved on and off would be 4 low required for sure.

Like someone said before exit and entrance were the worst part once on the beach watch for drift wood and rock/people dogs horses ect.
